Cancellation Policy

In case you need to cancel your registration(s), cancelling thirty (30) days or more in advance will result in a 50% refund of the original amount paid and no refund will be issued if the cancellation occurs within thirty (30) days of the conference start day.

Discounts

We usually, but not always, offer four (4) kinds of discounts: (1) early registration discounts, (2) group discounts, (3) government discounts, and (4) academic discounts.

We think of this conference more as a service to the Data Science community rather than a large profit turning enterprise. The margin for discounts might not be as large as for other conferences.

The early registration discount incentifies attendees to register early on, which helps tremendously with the logistics of organizing a conference. Group discounts are available for two or more attendees. Government discounts are for full-time federal, state, or local government employees. Academic discounts for full-time students and faculty members are also available.

Pricing for discounts is different for early and late registration periods. Please refer to the Register page for more information on pricing or contact us with any questions.

The attendee is responsible for choosing the discount that applies to his/her case. For example, if you don't know that another employee from your company is registering and you pay the regular Single Pass price instead of the group discount price, the conference is not responsible for refunding the difference between the regular price and the group discount price. Or, for example, if you are an academic and you pay the regular price instead of the academic discount price, the conference is not responsible for any refunds. However, if you feel you paid for the wrong pass, please contact us for a partial refund (at the conference's discretion).
